Just a quick note to let you know how pleased we are with our new time recording system. Naturally, at first the staff was hesitant about the change, but it was a smooth and quick transition from manual time card entries to the new automated system.

As you suggested, our first week on the system was a "test week" so the staff could practice using the swipe cards and I could work with the reports. It also gave me a chance to confirm that I was satisfied with the way I had set up the departments, shifts, etc. Thanks to your training, assistance, availability and the very well written handbook it all went so well that we were ready to go "live" in less than a week! After two pay periods I felt so comfortable with the system that I began to customize the system even more to suit our various scheduling and overtime situations.

I now have automated polling and reports set up so that every morning we have current reports on missing punches, absences, etc. which allows the supervisors to follow up immediately. It takes me just a few minutes a day to keep our records updated. Obviously, not having to chase down this information at the end of the pay period is a great help and saves us a lot of time. I also feel that we are saving money in having more accurate clock rings as well as reducing our payroll processing costs.
